Our boat pulled in to a pier about 15 km south of Siem Reap, transfered into the bus and off to our hotel. On arrival we were assigned rooms, photographed and issued with Angkor Wat Historical Park passes. In the afternoon off to the park, along the way our passes were inspected at a check point and on to Bayon Temple - ប្រាសាទបាយ័ន in the Angkor Thom - អង្គរធំ - complex. For information see the Bayon page from my 2019 visit, after extensive work had been completed. We also looked at the adjacent Terrace of the Elephants - លានជល់ដំរី, Preah Ponlea Sdach Komlong (Terrace Of The Leper King) - ព្រះពន្លាស្ដេចគម្លង់ (ទីលានស្ដេចគម្លង់) and the Suor Prat Towers - ប្រាសាទស៊ូរព្រាត. Even though I have spent quite a bit of time at Angkor Thom over several trips there remains a lot to still be seen in just this specific complex.
