The day after Boun Heua Fai (Fireboat Festival) and the streets were eerily quiet, it seemed like the town was recovering from a massive hangover or people had left town or a bit of both and I was feeling quite lazy. Up near and opposite Wat Hosian Voravihane for coffee and then along Sisavangvong Road and down to Kingkitsarath Road for lunch at the Tamarind Restaurant, one of Luang Prabang’s best restaurants. Later in the afternoon over and along Khem Khong as far as Nam Pho and then to the Cross River Ferry and some late twilight shots along Sisavangvong Road​​​​​​​
