Morning was spent going around the Bến Tàu Cần Thơ (Cần Thơ) Chợ Nổi Cái Răng (Cai Rang Floating Market) and then on to a rice paper noodle factory. The large boats tend to be wholesalers with the boat acting as a combined business premises and home; above each boat is a long bamboo pole which has a sample of what the boat is selling. In between are smaller boats dashing about, some transporting produce to and from the bigger boats and others selling drinks, coffee and noodles and others acting as water taxis.
