After we left Kampong Chhang we spent the rest of the day cruising up the Tonlé Sap, hardly seeing any other boats or people. We were given the good news that we were going to be the first big boat to make it all the way to Siem Reap for the season, otherwise we would have had to return downstream to Prek K'dam and a five hour bus trip. An added bonus was that the cloud formations were really interesting and it was the day before the full moon, so I was able to get some decent shots.
