I spent 4 October traveling, just over an hour by car from Old Sukhothai to Phitsanulok to catch the train for the 5, turned into more than 6, hour journey to Chiang Mai, ‘nough said.
On my way to Gekko Books where I re-stock my reading material I went into Wat Chedi Luang - วัดเจดีย์หลวง วรวิหาร, but was none too pleased with how the photos turned out. From there I re-stocked my reading and then slowly worked my way back to where I was staying, via the old city walls and the Phae Gate - ประตูท่าแพ and the old moat, passed Fort Ka-tham - แจ่งก๊ะต๊ำ. Back where I was staying, I got a couple of late afternoon and early sunset photos across the Ping River.
